Having vowed to post every day, I have let myself down a bit this week. I am working on two things now, related it turns out, but it all is so experimental, I have not made a finished piece I am happy to post. But I am learning a lot in getting ready to do a workshop in my processes with masking and cut outs in mobile art.

Here is a portrait I did from a snapshot of my daughter trying on a hat in a department store in London. This particular type of hat is called a fascinator, which I think is delightful. In working on this, I enjoyed the process of flowing from app to app, using the different tools available to get the effects I was looking for, and sometimes, enjoying the effects they offered.
